Christian Beaudrie's work among "Best Papers of 2013"
April 7, 2014

We are excited to announce that one of our Associates Christian Beaudrie won first runner up for Top Environmental Policy Paper of 2013 in the Journal of Environmental Science and Technology. Written by Christian Beaudrie, Milind Kandlikar, and Terre Satterfield, From Cradle-to-Grave at the Nanoscale: Gaps in U.S. Regulatory Oversight along the Nanomaterial Life Cycle (published May 13, 2013) explores the field of engineered nanomaterials (ENMs) and how, while they promise great benefit for society, their potential risks and best practices for regulation are not clearly understood.

The authors analyze regulations across the nanomaterial life cycle, assess the gaps in U.S. Federal regulations, discuss the implications for nanomaterial oversight and provide specific information on what is required to bring about a more holistic management of potential ENM risks.

Congratulations Christian, Milind and Terre on a winning paper!
